10 Ways 2 Teen Days

Do you remember when you were at school, that you hated to be there in those days where you had double-time of the classes whose subjects you hated the most?

I used to be naughty and skip school in Math days. My mom used to say upon every 02 (or F) I got: "do you go to school just to eat the meal?!"

But well, fact is that I enjoyed to study. I always did. Sciences, History and Communication (languages, grammar, composition), were my favorites. I used to read History books as who reads a romance under the trees in the park, and yes I did eat the cookies too!

This set of photos represents one thing no one else in the world has, only us, Portuguese speakers: "Saudade". I miss my school days and I wish to go back, redo it all, even the math I didn’t understand of.

So, here it goes, my little tribute to school days.

On these photos, I have nine different make-ups of the brand new release from LAQ: Pearl. To let you know, this is a pack for blondes. There are blonde eyebrows, and the hairbase option. One of the best hairbases I have ever seen, by the way. (Out of two for females and one for male). This pack comes with ten make ups, four skin shades (Milky, Fair, Peach and Nougat), you get twenty skins per pack: 10 make ups, with or without hairbase, for the price of 2K.

On photo 1 and 2, a tribute to my mom… yes, yes, that’s right, I did go to school only to eat the yummies… On photo number 3, a tribute to the crap old furreca (another word not very kind for cars to us Portuguese speaking people) bus schol that took us every day. I did hesitate entering and always left that bus one school before mine so I didn’t have to be seen by the other kids at school… Photo number 4, the playground of the school, where we teenagers terrorized the kids to use the swings. We didn’t break anything, we were very careful with OUR very well CLAIMED playground!!

And then that’s when we go naughty… Photos number 5 and 6 was me skipping those hateful double-hour math to either go wait for the cute boys to pass by (who never looked at me… damn…), or to go roller blade. I loved it so much.

And then in these pictures ( 1 to 6) I have Pearl in Fair skin tone. I would write the make up names, I even took note, but it’d spoil your pleasure of finding out by yourself.

On photos 7, 8 and 9, it’s how I studied my History and Science: in the kitchen with my cookies, or in the garden outside. Any place is a good place for a History, Biology or Foreign Literature book. and in these I have Peal in Milky tone.

I happen to BE LAQ. My shape seem perfect to them and I absolutely love the freshness and innocence. (I suppose you can tell as my uniforms are behaved; kinda rare on a perverted, wicked world as SL! LOL!) I have tried many skins (I love to), but in the end of the day, I go back to LAQ, which my friends seem to approve.

With a reason don’t you think??

Meh… Suddenly we wake up a little tired of everything, specially after a totally troublesome beginning of year. Not that I can really complain, because in RL everything is well and stable. I think I can relax now.

Then I come home, eager to do something cool, and I look at SL, and sigh. I’m tired. Tired of petty people, tired of mean people, tired of all the pink in my blog.

Well I can’t change the way people act when they’re behind the computer, thinking they’re invulnerable, so they can mistreat others at their will. Feelings are feelings by letter, phone, chat, game or face to face, and we can turn off the pc but we can’t kill people. But I believe in the nature’s course of things… what goes around comes around… so I will leave for the divine providence that will take care of the jerks.

Me I can only paint my blog. Keep tuned for other colours soon. I’d change also the layout, but I don’t do CSS/PhP, and the support is unavailable.

Now if you like pink, you should try these skins. They are from DeeTaleZ. In the shop they have more tones, but the one I have on me is light, with light eyebrows. There is the option of hairbase, and cleavage (purchased in separate in a clothing layer, shirt and undershirt). I counted 9 make-ups, so far. I’m not sure she’ll make add-ons, but you can hope. ^_^

The top is from Prelude, a Gilet, in Magenta. Hardly you’ll find this one, it’s gone for good, unfortunately for you! The good news however is that Prelude goes on hiatus to return soon with a couple news. The main store is still closed but if you click the two links for Prelude, they’ll take you to two different shops. Go grab the stuff while you still can: it’s a matter of time before they go too, replaced by new items!

Happy 1010 for everyone, the good and the meanies alike!

I have several news for you all, some pleasant, some not so pleasant, but life is not only what we make of it. Life involves other people in an environment, and that’s rather obvious, if we consider that we don’t live alone, but in a society whose other people affects our lives. Unfortunately, not only in good ways. What we do, is to dance the dance the best way we can, making our way at least bearable, if nothing better.

Think about that for your new year: if you could choose, you’d be always happy, of course. But if you could choose something for other people, or some act or gesture that makes a good difference to other people, what you’d choose? What sort of person are you? You’d want to make their lives good or bad?

If I can bring people a smile, I will, always.

So, I bring first the good new that will make you happy. Prelude is opening the three shops for  a HUGE sale. Everything but the collection Privé has about a half-cut price. The reason is that Polaire has some surprises of his own on the sleeve, and I won’t tell, but it’ll be worth the wait. Grab your things from Prelude FAST, because when Polaire removes them from the shop, it’ll be for good and not even the eternally thieving SLX will see the colours of it. You can find the Sales at the Main Shop, at Malt, and at Copley Square too (You’ll arrive right in front of Prelude’s TP, on the bottom row of the board.)

(I wear St Germain from the collection privé! It’s not on sales but it’s worth the grabbing. The leggings on the background cost only L$60 and comes in 13 colours! No youngster will want to miss that!)

Now, a second new, not so good. I closed my Main Shop. I had to, unfortunately, because my shop isn’t even paying it’s own rentals. I am sure I have good quality wares, under L$200 (except full packs), but I can’t afford mass advertisement right now. However, my shop on Malt remains, at least until February, when it’ll also close its doors. In the mean time I’ll be creating my last item, for Valentines Day. So, if you like something I have ever made, now it is your chance to get it.

The third new is, I’m making prefabs now. More on this is still surprise!

The fourth new is about this blog. Due to my RL being a bit hectic, I won’t be able to dedicate a lot of time for building new small things, but the prefabs allows me to work slow; and blogging is something I can do from anywhere I am at! So, blogging won’t stop, and it’ll remain focused on the younger and BEHAVED fashion or anything that my favorites shop do that strike my fancy. But some of the guidelines remain: no adult stuff, no restricted sims, etc. And if you want me to blog your skins, I’ll have you know I only blog skins if I can get a Full Pack, so I can have the options and choose what better suits the style of my blog.  

The Fifth New is a GIFT!!! However, this gift doesn’t come without it’s reasons. I had my shop in the SAH hunt. Unfortunately I was removed, even though my board, group inviter and gift were available to everyone on the due date (January 15th). I was a little late because every period of December-February, the life of this Nurse is totally hectic and a regular working schedule isn’t an option. According to the past news of the said hunt group, it would not be a problem, as some shops were added after the 15th and to this day members receive notices such as "shop ## is fixed!", and "Please skip shop ## for now", so obviously me being a couple hours late shouldn’t have to be a big issue, right? Regardless, while the reasons won’t be discussed in public, the fact is that I was removed, and that has saddened me to the point I will no longer take part on any hunts or events for as long as my shop is open.

But I don’t need any hunts to give gifts to my customers! So, every customer of my shop, from the period of this hunt, will receive the gift I had prepared for it. It’s a gift for girls. Drop on me an IM (no notecards, as I can read IM through my e-mails at work), with your name and transaction history. If when I get home I find you on my own transaction history, and on the visitor’s counter list, you’ll receive the Hunt gift. This offer is available as long as the Hunt lasts. But please remember I offer gifts because I LIKE, not because it is an obligation, so be kind on your IM. It’s all I ask!

Yes, yes, sue me. I have been extra busy this past month with trying to help a friend through a hard time, and also trying to learn how to build homes and clothing. Polaire has been precious, he teaches me so much. I think he has two pupils now, one being me.. )

But neither of us forget  our friends and customers so here we have gifts for you…

I show first the ones from Polaire at Prelude. The fabulous dresses are called Noelle and comes in four colours, all layers, prim parts resizable. And for those who believes in life outside USA, (yes we’re all aliens), comes a curiosity… did you know that people on South Hemisphere have Christmas with hot summers?! These dresses are very southern then, so I made the photos in the snow to make it amusing. And here I blow a big kiss to all of those who have the luck to have Christmas at the wonderful beaches, full of cocos, pineapple, at the edge of the sea watching fireworks. Tropical Christmas totally rock!

From my shop, I made two little gifts to offer.

The first is an outfit. It’s my first so please don’t be hard on me.. everybody has to start somewhere! I am happy with the results of this one, for a learning novice. The outfit has two scarves, two prim skirts, and the parts to go with these in all layers, plus the little bell.

The second is a house I made. A doll toy house actually. It’d be cute to make one living size but I don’t know anyone who would enjoy life inside the sweets house.. In any case, with this one you can play with the ginger people. I added a female, a male, and a happy kid; so if you’re a gay couple you can rez two guys! Isn’t it cute? XD

HAPPY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE, I HOPE YOU ALL GET TONS OF TRUE LOVE THIS YEAR!!!!!!!!!!

Hallo everybody!!

I am pleased to introduce two of my newest releases!

The first is Jordy. This belt was created to go well with the fabulous Jodhpur slacks without belt from Prelude, the shop of my Father, but it goes well with any jeans or slacks (and even certain skirts) you may have too. It’s carved and cute, comes in 12 colours for you to choose from (or a full pack), and obviously they are resizable.

The second release has more to do with my passion for nanos. These eight sets come with necklace (two, one for chest and other for spine, resizable); a ring (it’s thick and cute, and also resizable), and a pair of earrings (non-resizable).
